Hi everybody as we promised you that we will keep updating you with our research on ZWARA restaurant  today we would like to share with you some interesting  information about the components of the management information system(MIS) that is used by ZAWARA restaurant  .


Internal record system (IRS),food &beverage system (F&B ):as we explained before ZWARA is using IRS and F&B system in their restaurant ,because it’s Provide a Perfect Solution for F&B Industry, and the a system to help on managing  the table plan, inventory, sales, customers, supplier’s, reports, staffs and etc. Besides, IRS F&B System are easy to use and the staff can be trained up in minutes, the stock can be tracked down to the nearest measure.


There are three main component of IRS that is used in ZAWRA restaurant which are:-

1. The Order-to-Payment Cycle: The heart of the internal records system is the order-to-payment cycle. Sales representatives, dealers, and customers send orders to the restaurant.


2. Sales Information System: Marketing managers need timely and accurate reports on currents sales.


3.Databases, Data Warehousing, and Data Mining: Today companies organize their information in database customer database, product database, sales person database and then combine data from the different databases. Companies warehouse this data and make them easily accessible to decision makers. Furthermore, by hiring analysts skilled in sophisticated statistical methods, The data and garner fresh insights into neglected customer segments, recent customer trends, and other useful information. The customer information can be cross-tabbed with product and salesperson information to yield still deeper insights. To manage all the different databases efficiently and effectively, more firms are using business integration software.

The F&B system component are:
1.       The software component used in ZAWARA is IRS :
IRS Software is custom certified POS System software used by more than 16,000 companies nationwide.


          2.    The hardware component used in ZAWARA are:

·         Customer Display: it will show the customer the price that must be paid and the full order he ordered.



·         Receipt Thermal Printer: print the receipt after the customer pay the money to the cashier .



·         Mykad Reader: used for the credit card payment by visa card ect..
·         Cash Drawer: the casher man will put the money in the casher drawer after he received the money from the customer.




·         Kitchen Printer: print the order for the chief after it has been taken by the casher to start preparing it.




·         LCD Monitor with Touch Scr een: the input hardware that the cashier use to key in the order.  




The ringing tool that is used to tell the customer of the readiness of his order to come and collect.

Assalamualaikum and hi everyone.My big apologize of our late and pending update because there are few information that we need in order to complete these entries.Okay, for this entry we want to explain to you how Zawara Coffee’s business process.

 The business process of the IS that been practiced by Zawara Coffee involved several person which are the operation, the admin and the sales and marketing. Zawara Coffee has a walk-in customer type unlike its parents company, Zawara Boutique where it has online customer and also walk-in customer.

Now, we are going to look at Zawara Coffee’s business process of the IS:

The Business Process of IS



From the diagram above, it shows the flow of the business process of IS. 

Administration Segment
·         responsible to check the stock whether the stock had been received from supplier or not and
·         responsible to check the stock if the stock is available or not.

OperationSegment

·         responsible for handling the stock that coming in and going out from the store.
·         received the stock from supplier and manage the stock. 

Sales & Marketing
·         responsible in handling the walk-in customer.
·         responsible to check the stock to know whether the stock is available or not in the store.


Now we are going to look at Zawara Coffee’s Ordering Processing System. The processing system is divided into two which are the Supply Chain Management and Customer Relation Management.



Ordering Process

From the figure above, it shows the ordering process system for supply chain management. Zawara Coffee can see the whole information and the transaction related to their customer and the products by access to the system. For example, Zawara Coffee can record and check the types of products, the quantity of the product left, the sizes that need to be restock and etc. In order to restock the products, Zawara Coffee will contact directly to their supplier which is done manually because supplier cannot access to the system that Zawara Coffee used. 



Walk-in Customer 
- Customer order the menu from the café, wait for the order and pay to the cashier
- automatically effect in reducing the number of stock in the storage system when the cashier scan the code from the product.
- automatically effect in reducing the number of stock in the storage system when the admin key-in the code of the products.
